DHL Express Luxembourg is proud to announce that the company has been awarded 2-star Lean & Green certification, a recognition that underlines its local commitment reducing its carbon footprint and adopting environmentally friendly logistics practices.

Since 2019, DHL Express Luxembourg has reduced its CO₂ emissions by 40.56% through ambitious initiatives, including:

  • The transition of our own fleet made up of 96% electric vehicles, significantly reducing emissions linked to ground transport.
  • The PackUp collaborative project, run in partnership with Post Luxembourg, optimizing urban logistics.

At the same time, the global rollout of our GoGreen service, enabling our customers to offset their CO₂ emissions and access sustainable logistics solutions, as well as the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which reduces the environmental impact of air transport, reinforce our collective commitment to a greener future.

These efforts are in line with DHL's global strategy, which aims for total carbon neutrality by 2050, as well as DHL Express Luxembourg's local objective of continuing our daily efforts to validate the higher levels of Lean & Green certification.

With this certification, DHL once again demonstrates its ability to innovate and to respond to environmental challenges. By combining operational performance and ecological responsibility, the company confirms its role as a leader in the sustainable transition of the logistics sector.
