LuxConnect, the largest data center operator and manager of an extensive dark fiber network in Luxembourg, announces the signing of an Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreement with LuxNetwork, a Luxembourg-based telecom operator serving businesses. This agreement extends LuxNetwork’s national network by over 400 km on LuxConnect’s dark fiber infrastructure, with a guaranteed service for 10 years.
A Decade of Trust and Collaboration
For nearly 10 years, LuxConnect and LuxNetwork have maintained a relationship built on mutual trust, enabling the development of innovative and reliable connectivity solutions. This new partnership strengthens that relationship for the next ten years through an IRU contract. This strategic collaboration allows LuxNetwork to leverage LuxConnect’s expertise and robust infrastructure while ensuring a diverse range of connectivity services.

This collaboration grants LuxNetwork an irrevocable long-term right to use LuxConnect’s dark fiber infrastructure. This 400 km fiber optic expansion will allow LuxNetwork to offer next-generation connectivity solutions, enabling services at 400 Gbps.
LuxConnect was chosen for the quality and scale of its network, as well as its ability to provide flexible routing options to create network diversity tailored to LuxNetwork’s specific customer needs.
LuxConnect, 100% owned by the Luxembourg state, is recognized for its rigorous standards and certifications, including ISO 27001, ensuring optimal security and quality of service.
