Opinion of The Chamber of Commerce on the aid scheme for SMES in temporary financial difficulty

Covid-19

The Chamber of Commerce has just published its opinion on draft bill n°75321 relating to the establishment of an aid scheme for small and medium-sized enterprises in temporary financial difficulty and on the government amendments to the same bill.

The Chamber of Commerce welcomes the primary objective of the bill, but considers that some of the proposed measures are nevertheless too complex and/or too slow to implement. Further measures are expected due to the severity of the crisis, in particular to enable businesses to benefit from immediate liquidity.

The Chamber of Commerce and the House of Entrepreneurship reiterate their support for the implementation of possible measures that are more wide reaching and can directly help more businesses.
