The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is pleased to inform you that its partners, the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for Russia and Belarus, in close collaboration with the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia, will organize two explorative trade missions over the course of the first Semester 2018.
The Chambers are part of the network of Belgian-Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce Abroad (BLCCA) promoting the economic interests of Luxembourg and Belgium abroad and assisting companies of both countries in conquering new markets. The accreditation programme of this network is the result of an intensive collaboration between the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce.
The first event, endorsed by the government of the Tyumen region, offers you the unique opportunity to take part in the trade mission to the first Russian settlement in Siberia – the City of Tyumen – from March 26th to 28th this year. The delegation will be able to meet with the Governor of the Tyumen oblast, HE Mr. Vladimir Yakushev, and leaders of the Tyumen business community, with the support of Mr. Vladislav Kvasov – the Counsellor for Luxembourg foreign trade for the Region of Tyumen – as well as of the local Chamber of Commerce, the “CCI of the Tyumen region”.
Tyumen is an important service center for the Gas and Oil industries in Russia. Due to its moderate climate and its strategic location at the crossing of the motor-, rail-, water- and airways of the region, Tyumen quickly became the ideal base town for servicing the oil and gas industry of Western Siberia. The city has, over time, grown to become a regional center for industry, science, culture, education and medicine. Meetings are planned with the Regional Administration and the business community at the ZAO Antipinsky Oil Refinery, the West-Siberian Oil and Gas Center, the MKMC Medical City and Promsvyazbank.
The second mission organized by the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for Russia and Belarus, in close collaboration with the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia, will head to Novgorod City from May 28th to 29th, 2018. The region is mainly known for industries revolving around chemicals, metallurgy, wood products, paper and pulp, agriculture, food & fishery, as well as the digital economy. More specific information on the trade mission will follow in due time.
