Conférence / séminaire

Freitag 7 Jul 2017

July 7th, 2017 from 13h - 14h30

Chamber of Commerce, 7 rue Alcide de Gasperi, Luxembourg-Kirchberg

The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in close cooperation with LuxAfrica Investments Association, is organizing a seminar on Business and Investment Opportunities in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The seminar will take place on July 7th, 2017 from 13h-14h30 at the premises of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

With a GDP of USD 486 billion in 2015, Nigeria is one of Sub Saharan Africa’s largest economies. As the Nigerian economy has experienced improved social and economic performance over the past decade and is attempting to diversify the economy through federal government implementations, long-term perspectives are positive.

As far as economic relations with Europe are concerned, Nigeria accounts for around half of the EU exports to Sub-Saharan Africa and nearly 70 per cent of the imports, while the EU remains the top destination for Nigeria’s oil and non-oil exports.

The aim of this seminar is to inform about the current economic situation and business environment in Nigeria and how Luxembourg can explore and enhance economic and commercial relations in Western Africa and strengthen its relations with Nigeria.

Interested companies are kindly requested to duly complete the online registration form by no later than July 5th, 2017.
