International Affairs
On February 28th, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce received the Federation of Young Entrepreneurs from Turin.
Jeannot Erpelding, Director International Affairs of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the President, Alberto Barberis, and his delegation by highlighting the longstanding friendship between Luxembourg and Italy. After the presentation of the Luxembourg economy and its key sectors, Karin Schintgen, CEO of the newly created House of Startups, outlined its visions and the Luxembourg startups ecosystem.
The Luxembourg Federation of Young Entrepreneurs that were present then had the opportunity to exchange about their projects and activities. A networking lunch enhanced by the presence of Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna concluded the session at the Chamber of Commerce.
A visit at the Luxembourg Institute for Sciences and Technologies LIST was on the afternoon programme. There are indeed a number of sectors that both Luxembourg and Turin are pursuing: the automotive industry, construction, aerospace, ICT and logistics
Alberto Barberis concluded that: “I see a state focus on innovation and on cooperation, a land full of opportunities for us!”
