Luxexpo The Box presents two major events for home enthusiasts from 5 to 8 October: Home Expo and Semaine Nationale du Logement.
Luxexpo The Box and the Ministry of Housing are proud to present two flagship events to be held simultaneously from 5 to 8 October 2023. Dedicated to all aspects of the living environment: Home Expo and Semaine Nationale du Logement will bring together more than 160 experts committed to guiding visitors towards innovative, creative and sustainable solutions.
Home Expo: The Epicentre of Housing Innovation
Home Expo gathers together an active community of professionals dedicated to the world of innovative living concepts to offer visitors advice and revitalising ideas on construction, renovation, furnishings and home decor ... So whether you are an individual looking for inspiration for your home, or a professional in the sector, this is the place to be. This year's major trends include reduced energy consumption, the use of eco-friendly building materials, minimalist styling, contemporary design with a focus on recycling, and the integration of home automation and AI for a smarter home. Visitors will be able to explore these trends, and much more, thanks to enthusiastic experts, mini-showrooms, unique objets d'art, guided tours, conferences and meetings with professionals.
For this year's event, in collaboration with renowned players in the sector, Luxexpo The Box is organising a series of exhibitions with the assistance of the Ordre des Architectes et des Ingénieurs-Conseils and the Ministry of Housing, on themes relating to the living environment, to be discovered during these events: Bezahlbarer Wohnungsbau in Wien, Glamping cabins, Bauhäre maache Lëtzebuerg, Luxembourg in Transition, etc. There will also be conferences to put visitors and private individuals at the centre of the debate. Wortimmo will be hosting a conference entitled "Housing: political programmes in the face of the property crisis".
Semaine Nationale du Logement: Information and Housing Aids
At the same time, the Ministry of Housing is teaming up with Luxexpo The Box to organise Semaine Nationale du Logement. This event brings together institutions, associations, public and private developers from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, along with banks and insurance companies to provide citizens with information, advice and assistance for their housing-related projects.
The Guichet Unique des Aides au Logement team will be on hand to provide information on the various forms of financial aids available for renting, home ownership and renovation. Researchers from the Observatoire de l'Habitat will inform you on trends in housing, accommodation and property in Luxembourg.

Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to discover upcoming real estate projects, explore housing-related services and discuss their needs with experts from the sector. Students of architecture, interior design or engineering, housing professionals and members of the public seeking information will all be there to discover the future trends in housing in Luxembourg.
Understanding and adapting your home in these challenging economic times
"In these difficult economic times, the Home Expo and Semaine Nationale du Logement events are of particular importance. They offer a unique opportunity to understand current issues, discover practical solutions for improving our homes and meet the players in the field," said Morgan GROMY, CEO of Luxexpo The Box. "However, these fairs alone cannot miraculously solve structural problems. Rather, they provide a platform for exploring innovative ideas and sustainable approaches. We hope that they will encourage constructive dialogue between all those involved in the housing sector, and that they will help to shape sustainable solutions and a more stable and comfortable future for our living areas".
Commitment to Sustainability
Luxexpo The Box is determined to make its events a showcase for sustainability. The organisers have taken concrete measures to minimise the environmental impact of these shows, notably by reducing the use of printed materials, promoting sustainable mobility, using eco-designed materials, and offering seasonal, local and organic food. Home Expo and Semaine Nationale du Logement have been certified with the Green Business Events logo, by respecting eco-responsible and inclusive criterias. The logo is issued by the Ministry of the Economy's Directorate General for Tourism.
Both events aspire to be eco-responsible, and their commitment to sustainability is in line with Luxexpo The Box's mission to promote economic, social and environmental prosperity. This is why three platforms have been set up, each focusing on one of these aspects: a crafts platform showcasing local artisans, a concept store dedicated to B2B meetings and an Eco-logic pavilion bringing together the associative sector.
Supporting a Noble Cause
Finally, Luxexpo The Box is actively supporting the Transplant association and the cause of organ donation by hosting the Spinning Marathon, a sporting event dedicated to raising awareness and funds on Sunday 8 October. Numerous sportsmen and women will be taking part in the charity event to raise public awareness of the crucial role played by organ donors in our society.
Solid institutional support
These major events benefit from the institutional support of the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Trade and professional federations, reinforcing their position as a must-attend event for enthusiasts of the home and its themes.
