IMS Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development (MECDD) as well as the Administration of the Environment, the SuperDrecksKëscht, the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Crafts, has produced a transition kit for the reduction of single-use products in companies.
This kit offers alternatives to a number of single-use plastic products regularly used in companies. By highlighting the impact of these alternatives, various criteria were taken into account, such as the time and costs for the transition, as well as the sustainability and recyclability of the proposed solutions.
In particular, alternatives to the following products are proposed
- Plates and food containers
- Cutlery
- Bottles
- Cups
- Straws
- Swizzle sticks
- Food packaging (snacking)
- Bags and pouches
- Balloons
- Wipes
