The Republic of Cabo Verde, independent from Portugal since the 5thJuly, 1975, is an island country which comprises nine inhabited islands located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The country whose population is approximately half a million people, is a stable democracy and it has a temperate tropical climate all year round.
Recently, Cabo Verde has been chosen as one of the world’s favourite tourist destinations and is considered one of the top ten countries to visit during next years, and where the tourism has grown the most in the past few years.Nowadays, the country is visited by approximately half a million tourists per year and the Government’s goal is to reach a million of tourists in 2020.
Thus, the Government of Cabo Verde, in partnership with the chambers of commerce of Cabo Verde and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce would like to present you some business and investment opportunities, especially some features of the tourism investment fund to be set-up in the near future.
