On the occasion of the courtesy visit of Ms Shirley YUNG, newly nominated Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office to the European Union, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Round table: Business Opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The event will provide an overview of the current developments of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as an introduction of the key role that Hong Kong plays in the area.

The Greater Bay Area comprises the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province.
The Area is around 56 000 km2, with a total population over 86 million and the GDP over RMB 13 trillion (USD1.7 trillion) in 2022. Being the most open and international city in the Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong is known for its status as international financial, transport, and aviation hub as well as its renowned professional services.
The round table will be followed by a networking drink.
