On 5 November, a high-level delegation from Portugal, led by João Rui Ferreira, Portugal's Secretary of State for the Economy, and Ricardo Arroja, CEO of aicep Portugal Global, traveled to Luxembourg to attend the Luxembourg-Portugal Business Forum. The forum, which attracted 230 attendees, featured sectoral seminars on Digital Technologies, Health Tech, and Sustainable Construction, a networking lunch and dedicated b2b meetings. The forum highlighted emerging sectors of mutual interest, including Digital Technologies, Health Tech, and Sustainable Construction. These sector-focused seminars facilitated discussions around technology-driven partnerships, healthcare advancements, and sustainable infrastructure. Over 120 B2B meetings were hosted in this framework. “I am thrilled to welcome such a large and enthusiastic delegation from Portugal, and we are engaged in providing the best environment for your development in Luxembourg”, stated Fernand Ernster, President of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
For decades, Portugal has been a key partner for Luxembourg. The goal of this event was to foster further opportunities for partnerships between both countries.
The event was organised by the Chamber of Commerce, aicep Portugal Global, Luxinnovation’s industry clusters, with the support of the Embassy of Portugal in Luxembourg and the Embassy of Luxembourg in Portugal.
