In the context of the upcoming trade mission to Japan from 10-14 June 2024, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, together with the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg and JETRO, is organising a country seminar on business opportunities in Japan.

As the world's 4th largest economy by nominal GDP, Japan has a highly developed and export-oriented economy. The country is a major player in global trade, with a focus on advanced technology and manufacturing. Key sectors include automobile, electronics, machinery, and precision instruments. Japan's economy is heavily reliant on exports and it ranked 1 in the Economic Complexity Index, and 4 in total exports in 2021. Luxembourg and Japan are historic partners in business and have strong link and complementarities in trade and investment.

Alongside the seminar, stands of Japanese technologies, arts, tourism and culture will be exhibited, followed by sushi and saké tasting and networking.
