Our missions
Our missions
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce takes the necessary and appropriate measures, and allocates the necessary resources, for an adequate, efficient and proactive action whenever European measures or initiatives are likely to affect the interests of the business sectors that the Chamber of Commerce represents, but also - more generally - the socio-economic fabric of the country.
We ensure early access to politically relevant information via a robust international network with reliable alliances, proactive advocacy activities, and the mobilization of third parties in support of Luxembourg economic interests, by applying a structured approach to prioritize and filter relevant projects and developments at EU level that are of interest to the Luxembourg economy.
Policy monitoring and Advocacy
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce closely follows the initiatives of the European Commission and the legislative and decisional process at the European level, whether it be draft regulations and directives, communications or resolutions. We closely monitor legislative and regulatory changes and advocate for balanced legal and regulatory frameworks.
Alerting and Mobilizing
Working together with the targeted sectors as well as with the professional federations concerned at the national and European levels, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce collects information on the concrete impact of the envisaged measures and relays it to the appropriate recipients.
Regular blog posts or updates on the latest policy news, summarizing key discussions affecting businesses on the latest developments in EU Policy, events including conferences, webinars, and workshops on relevant topics like EU law, digital transformation, and sustainability practices, offer support for businesses in understanding and implementing EU laws.
