We are pleased to invite you to participate in a trade mission to Austin and San Francisco.
Texas has increasingly become a key destination for tech giants relocating their headquarters and operations, attracted by its favourable business climate. The State is also experiencing strong tailwinds in the defence and aerospace sectors: 18 of the 20 largest U.S. aerospace manufacturers have established major operations there. The Lone Star State is also the top recipient of defence spending in the country (USD 71.6 bn). Overall, Texas is widely recognised as the second manufacturing powerhouse in the U.S., accounting for 10% of the country’s total manufacturing GDP.
As for California, its Silicon Valley is home to many of the world’s leading tech and IT companies, which are increasingly exploring intersections between AI and national security, thereby strengthening their ties with the defence industry. The State ranks 3rd nationwide in defence spending with USD 60.8 billion and is the largest manufacturing state.

The programme of the trade mission will include:
a business forum
b2b meetings
an official networking reception
company/incubator visits.
The programme of the mission and the B2B meetings will focus exclusively on the following sectors: defence, space, advanced manufacturing and tech (IT & AI).
