A business chamber in Luxembourg is in early talks to benefit from a 75% government subsidy to build affordable housing for companies in a bid to attract young professionals to the country from abroad
The American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (Amcham) is crafting plans to build single-room apartments in Gasperich and later in Kirchberg, designed for people in their 20s who might otherwise be unable to afford the high rent prices around the capital city. The non-profit business group is proposing to act as the developer of rent-controlled flats on behalf of its member companies. Construction is months or years away from starting.
