We are pleased to invite you to participate in a multisectoral trade mission to Taiwan taking place from 15 to 21 March 2025.
Taiwan boasts a highly developed free-market economy, ranking as the 8th largest in Asia. This positions Taiwan among the advanced economies, as recognised by the International Monetary Fund, and within the high-income economies category by the World Bank. Additionally, Taiwan is a global leader in the production of computer microchips and high-tech electronics, housing some of the most technologically advanced industries in the world.
In this context, the 15th Taiwan-Luxembourg Joint Business Council (TLJBC), an annual bilateral business platform, will be held in Taipei. This event provides a valuable opportunity for Luxembourgish and Taiwanese companies from multiple sectors to strengthen existing business ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration in trade, investment and research.
Taiwan is a global hub of AI innovation, driven by cutting-edge research, skilled talent, and robust digital infrastructure. It's thriving ecosystem can offer Luxemburgish companies significant opportunities for collaboration and growth, particularly in AI-powered automation and smart manufacturing.
In the Healthtech sector, Taiwan's world-class healthcare systems and commitment to digital transformation, including advancements in telemedicine, biotechnology, and precision medicine can create valuable opportunities for Luxembourgish companies to collaborate and innovate.
