Improved productivity was driven by a number of operational measures that boosted the efficiency of ore extraction and finished product output, as well as by the implementation of several major investment projects.
Shukhrat Ibragimov, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurasian Resources Group, said: “ERG’s Kazchrome is one of the world’s leading ferroalloys producers and one of the most widely recognized brands in the global metals industry. This year, we are celebrating the 30 years anniversary at Kazchrome and I am very glad that in 2024, we have achieved another production record. Via investing in such key projects like the highly-automated Bolashak chrome mine and the wind power plant in Chromtau, which will provide green energy to our ferroalloys business, we invest in the future of Kazchrome and in the future of local communities.”
“Thirty years is an important milestone for ERG. The results we have achieved affirm our strategy focused on upgrading our production facilities and developing the potential for exports,” said Sergey Prokopyev, General Director of TNC Kazchrome JSC. “The coordinated efforts of our team help us to successfully respond to the challenges in the sector and strengthen our global position.”
