EY Luxembourg is proud to unveil a series of significant leadership appointments. These strategic changes underscore EY Luxembourg's commitment to excellence and adaptability in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

We are excited to announce a landmark addition to our senior leadership team at EY Luxembourg. Adriana Boixados has been appointed as the new Deputy Country Managing Partner, stepping in to strengthen our ability to meet the demands of our growing firm and support our long-term strategic vision.

She will play a critical role in enhancing leadership capacity to navigate our next phase of growth. Adriana was the Country People Leader for the last two years, effectively managing our people and related operational initiatives across all service lines and functions. She will be working closely with our Country Managing Partner, Olivier Coekelbergs, and the rest of the leadership team to define and drive strategic priorities. She is also a Tax Partner with 20 years of experience in advising alternative asset managers on a broad range of transactions skilled in providing strategic guidance and navigating complex deal structures.

Strategic Leadership Appointments Across Functional and Service Lines at EY Luxembourg

Among the functional leaders, René Ensch has been appointed as the new Country People Leader, succeeding Adriana Boixados. René brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the role, ensuring that EY Luxembourg continues to foster a supportive and dynamic workplace culture. René was the Country Risk Management Leader of the firm for the last four years. As an Assurance Partner, he is specialized in the real estate sector with more than 25 years of experience in audit.

Julie Honoré will take on the role of Country Risk Management Leader. With her extensive background in risk management and quality assurance, Julie is well-equipped to uphold and enhance the firm's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of risk management. Julie is an Assurance Partner in the real estate sector. She has strong industry skills serving the entire real estate value chain from developers and constructors to real estate investment funds.

Furthermore, Alban Aubrée has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. He will focus on enhancing our operations. Over the last five years as Chief Financial Officer, Alban has been successfully driving our firm’s financial matters, which will continue to be crucial in supporting strategic operational decisions and achieving the firm's objectives.

Regarding the Service Lines, Christian Schlesser has been named the new Tax Leader of EY Luxembourg. Christian's deep expertise in national and international tax and his strategic vision will be instrumental in guiding the firm's tax services and delivering exceptional value to clients. He was previously EY Luxembourg’s Commercial and Public Sector Tax Leader, Operating Model and Transfer Pricing Leader, and has 21 years of experience working for EY in Luxembourg and Chicago.

Finally, Bart Van Droogenbroek becomes the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) Leader. Bart's innovative approach and comprehensive understanding of the TMT sector will drive EY Luxembourg's efforts to provide cutting-edge solutions and insights to clients in these rapidly evolving industries. Before taking this role, he led EY Luxembourg's Tax Practice and also formerly served as the firm’s Global Telecommunication Tax Sector Leader. At the same time, concerning governance, Bart has also been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board.

In the recent past, EY Luxembourg has implemented several role changes across service lines, sectors, and senior leadership. These changes reflect the firm's ability to adapt swiftly to the evolving business environment, delivering an impressive growth year-on-year. Over the last four years, EY Luxembourg has grown by 60%.
