CES 2024
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in San Francisco, organized a trade fair visit to the CES Las Vegas from 8th – 12 January 2024. 31 participants from 24 companies and institutions participated in this trade fair visit.
CES, the world’s most powerful tech platform, welcomed more than 4000 exhibiting companies from all around the world who unveiled their innovations that are tackling big global challenges. Around 130,000 attendees crowded the alleys to discover the breakthrough technologies of tomorrow. The 1200 innovative startups at the Eureka Park illustrated that interesting ideas can be scaled to revolutionize the world.
The CES is spread over 3 different locations namely the Las Vegas Convention Center, The Venetian Expo & Aria. Alongside the dazzling showcase of technology giants at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian Expo Center hosted innovative startups from around the globe.
Diversity is one of the USPs of the CES that seamlessly integrated a wide range of sectors including AI, Sustainability, Robotics, Automotive, Digital health, Smart cities, Food tech, AR / VR to just name a few. The Innovation Awards Showcase was another key highlight that honored outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products that have the potential to shape the future. Celebrating technology, the show integrated immersive experiences with its engaging exhibits and product demos: LG’s OLED transparent screens, Hyundai’s futuristic mobility solutions, a drone-operated football game and much more.
The programme for the Luxembourg delegation included participating in several networking receptions including the CES international Delegation Reception, European Night, Quebec networking and the Belgium beer summit. A special networking session was organized at the Taiwan Tech Arena for Luxembourg companies.
Luxembourg companies used the opportunity to explore the latest insights into the industry trends presented by corporate giants and innovative startups. They also seized the occasion to find new prospects and explore the global dimension of the event.
The 2024 edition of CES kept its promise of projecting the future. The Luxembourg delegation demonstrated its enthusiasm to come back in 2025.
