Encevo is pleased to continue its long-standing support of UNICEF Luxembourg by donating 5.000€ to the ‘Climate Crisis - Children's Rights Crisis’ campaign.
The climate crisis remains one of the biggest challenges we are facing as a society. Although children are not responsible for the climate crisis, they are its main victims. UNICEF responds to natural disasters through rescue operations, the distribution of essential supplies, the maintenance and restoration of vital services, and psychosocial support for children. The organisation also promotes innovative measures to ensure the climate resilience of its services, including the promotion of renewable energy, an inherent part of Encevo's mission. As the leading partner for the sustainable energy transition in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, Encevo is committed to green and carbon-free energy generation throughout the value chain and to implementing innovative energy concepts.
The cheque was presented on 22 January 2025 at the Encevo Group offices in the presence of Julien Brun and Martine Karier from UNCIEF and Claude Seywert, CEO of Encevo.
