As international expansion can be a significant financial undertaking, it is essential for companies to secure the necessary financing to boost business development efforts abroad. The second edition of the “Navigating Global Markets” series held on 27 March 2025 focused on “Financing opportunities for your internationalisation”. This webinar showcased three important funding options that can propel companies on their path to global success. The event also featured practical experiences from companies that have successfully leveraged these instruments to GO International.
The webinar welcomed the participation of the Luxembourg Export Credit Agency (ODL), which helps fund international promotion such as participating in trade fairs, conducting market studies, IP, or opening prospecting entities. Nadine Marques Lima, Account Manager, shared the eligibility criteria and procedures for these subventions. This support was instrumental for Dropslab Technologies GmbH, active in the domain of AI-driven workforce solution for industries. Meysam Minoufekr shared his seamless experience with the ODL on his journey to enter foreign markets.
For companies interested in elaborating effective international digital marketing campaigns, the House of Entrepreneurship is the first contact point to benefit from the SME Package - Digital. Laura David, Junior Entrepreneurship Advisor, explained how this flat-rate state aid supports companies in their international digital marketing campaigns. Such efforts are vital to remain competitive and prospect clients in new markets, which was the motivation for RMT Labs, represented by Daniel Stoica, Chief Executive Officer.
High-impact projects in developing markets with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can be co-financed by the Business Partnership Facility (BPF). Mélanie Bugnon-Dia, in charge of communication and enterprise outreach at LuxDev, outlined how the BPF empowers companies to undertake innovative projects in third countries. During the trade mission to Kosovo organised by the Chamber of Commerce in 2023, Jabir Chakib, Manager at E-LMA SARL, became acquainted with this programme and conceived the idea to leverage Kosovo’s young talents to bridge Luxembourg’s finance skills gap.
The webinar concluded with an interactive session, providing companies the valuable opportunity to connect directly with the institutional partners behind these financing instruments.
