The Banker, which is part of the Financial Times group, named Swissquote Bank Europe as Luxembourg’s Bank of the Year. This annual award recognises industry-wide excellence within the global banking community. Dave Sparvell, the CEO of Swissquote Bank Europe, accepted the award on the bank’s behalf.
“Congratulations to Swissquote Bank Europe for outshining the competition to win the Bank of the Year award for Luxembourg”, said The Banker. “Core to Swissquote Bank Europe’s proposition is combining digital capabilities with high-touch wealth management services. Over the last two years, Swissquote Bank Europe completed the integration of Keytrade Bank Luxembourg – the rival bank acquired from Credit Mutuel Arkea in 2022.
Its hybrid approach enabled it to onboard Keytrade Bank Luxembourg’s existing book of life insurance, independent financial advisors and family office clients. The bank’s digital platform and wider products have been well received, and they are now the fastest growing client segment for the bank.”
For Swissquote Bank Europe’s CEO Dave Sparvell, “We are extremely proud of this award, which underlines Swissquote Bank Europe’s evolution to become recognised as a significant banking provider in Luxembourg’s wealth management ecosystem. We will continue to be pioneers of digitalisation so that clients can achieve the best outcomes when it comes to the investments they manage for themselves or their clients. Huge congratulations to all of my team for everything they’ve done to earn this recognition”.
Earlier this year, Swissquote Bank Europe was also named “Best Private Bank for SelfDirected Investments” by Professional Wealth Management at its 2024 Wealth Tech Awards.
Judges selected winning banks based on their performance, innovation, added value for clients and leadership in their community. The Banker selects one winning bank for each of the 127 countries judged.
